Another one...

So, as of now, I have two sec school classmates who is married. But unfortunately, even though I'm back in town this time around, I've not been able to attend her wedding. As I told Stef, I predict we're going to have another classmate getting married in about half a year's time.. Now the question is just : WHO? :p

Stef and Ranita treated me to a great meal yesterday.. throwing in good food and quality time.. Thanks guys! :)

Today was spent reading a book which is part of a trilogy. Finished the first book : A Child Called 'It', which is a memoir relating the author's life as an abused child. It was only after I finished reading that I found out that this was the story of the third worst case of child abuse in California back in the 1970s. To be honest, I dont find the author's style particularly interesting nor particularly good.. But knowing it is a true story makes a difference (to me). To see how a mother (I'm now beginning to wonder if she's really his biological mother) can think up so many inhumane ways of torturing her son and actually finding joy in seeing him suffer.. Now onto the second book "The Lost Boy" to see how he lived his life from 12 - 18 after he's been "rescued".

Comments:
hey edmund, i'm here... do you mean leng can be the main character for the third book of the trilogy?

i'm lost? hee~ *winks back*

Hey Leng... saw your message on my blog. Thanks for the words of advice. I guess I'm just not doing too great here in that department. Need the time off. To heal myself... Been hurt too much. Been hurt almost constantly... Can't take anymore of that for the moment. I hope things are going well for u there. U'r in Penang now right? i understand your frustrations over other's marriages and stuff. My friends just e-mailed all of us pictures of her son. It's sad that everyone is moving on to that stage of their life except me. But I'm not set for that I guess
