I couldnt find my book... It's available online in Chapters but it's not in the store! Sigh.. how long does it take for books to get in-store?! Instead I spent about 3 hours reading another book called Blink by Malcolm Gladwell... It was an interesting book about the powers of our subconscious mind. One of the examples given was how most CEOs happen to be tall males. According to the author, after "neutralizing" (i.e. taking into account) gender and all other biases, on average, every extra inch in height earns you an extra $789 per year! That means a 6 foot tall guy/woman might earn an extra 7+k per year more than me because and only because he/she is taller! Geez.. talk about discrimination!
Anyway, if you think you're a strong believer in equal rights for everyone, think again. Your conscious mind might think you're fair but your subconscious might say otherwise.. You can take a test to find out. (Was somewhat tired when I took the tests.. not sure how that factors in... but some of the results were certainly unexpected)
