well its been a while... or at least it feels like its been awhile since i last updated my blog... one week of holidays had passed by... too quickly!
although i did not make any plans for winter break.. i havent exactly been resting at home either.. on recap i actually went out the past 5 out of 7 days.. did all the different kinds of shopping generally..
went to j - town yesterday.. town is definitely the wrong word to use... the whole place is made up of a small 'fish market', a bakery, a tiny eating place, a grocery place and a video rental store.. since that didnt take up too much of our time to explore.. we went to pac mall after.. since it wasnt too far away.. didnt spend too much time there though..
tired out by the time we got back.. so i took a nap.. and suprisingly i didnt screw up my sleep time too badly.. i was tired again by 3... had a short chat with ym last night.. was the line horrible or what.. i keep having to repeat myself coz we keep breaking off.. and everytime i speak i hear myself twice with a 5 secs delay in between!
plans for the coming week.. going to walmart then dinner tonight with 'everybody' (who's still in toronto).. tomorrow's xmas.. so i'll prolly stay in.. bt i'll have to clean up the place coz diana's coming on boxing day! :) boxing day will be shopping shopping.. then pick diana up from the airport.. too bad her flight arrives in the evening.. or else we can go boxing day shopping together.. now wouldnt that be fun! anyway.. she'll be staying til the 31st.. haha! (i'd always thought 3 days was a tad bit too short!)
well after that i guess i'll just laze the last 2 days and prepare for classes to begin again.. 2 weeks is just too short for holidays.. i dont feel rested at all...
on the weather side: there was a snow storm the day before.. so yesterdays trip was slushy! yucks! and the wind was blowing strong! gosh.. considering shaving.. coz my hair goes haywire everytime the wind blows.. can be especially frustrating when all you're trying to do is not step into a puddle of dirty water or slip on ice or fall... there were 2 very very cold days last week.. the wind brought the temperature down by more than 10 degrees.. *brrr* went out the first day.. and was smart enough to stay in the second day :p now im just praying the weather will be nice during diana's stay *fingers crossed*
