it's new year eve...
sent diana off this morning... been a tiring week... but it was nice catching up :)
revelations (from the past week):
1. im less dependent on the internet than i thought (msn especially). i have officially stayed off msn since the day of diana's arrival... and have not been using the internet for more than 30 mins during the entire duration of her stay..
2. im blowed my budget BIG time! i got both the external hard drive AND the mp3 player.. PLUS i've been eating out wayyyyy too many times to count.. and somehow i seem to have spent quite a lot of money on all sorts of other things..
3. im bored of eaton centre... i've seen all that i can afford.. saved myself the trouble of seeing things i'll never afford.. and browsed through things i cant really afford... i'd love to stay away from eaton's for sometime.. but i just remembered i need to get some cards soon.. so i guess i'll still have to make a trip there.. hopefully i can get enough cards in one trip to last...
4. i just got a letter along with a bookmark from kx's today.. a sweet thought.. thanks yang! :)
5. classes are going to start in 2 days time :( this break was wayyy too short...
6. my taste in shoes and men do not correlate too well :p
7. i still have no plans for the new year celebration even though its about 6 1/2 hours away.. but if there's one thing i know.. its NOT going to be at nathan phillips square..
8. my food intake has increased a whole lot since i got back..
9. i love the almond croissant from La Maison du Croissant.. not cheap but yummy :p~
10. i have the worst luck when it comes to trying new food
11. st lawrence market isnt that far away.. and i can actually walk a whole lot more than i thought :p
on the side note the weather in toronto is a unpredictable as ever... after the cold week.. it was actually a suprising 9 degrees today! not exactly warm coz the wind was really strong and it was drizzling all day.. but still a huge change from the - 10 degrees.
also i havent gotten around to trying that cheese cake yet.. i have all the ingredients (i think).. now for the energy to go over to edmund's to get the stuff :p
