its been a good day today so far :)
even though i havent been as productive as i should be.. i did manage to go sit through 3 1/2 of bishop's lectures (a very big achievement considering i have never been able to sit through any of his actual classes without falling asleep :p)
AND... i've finally figured out the perfect xmas gift for matthew! :D just out of the blue i thought about this book i received a couple of years back from my friends.. (prolly i was also 14 then? lol) but i think he'll like this book.. or at least i hope he does.. coz i sure do! one of my all time favourites! i can still remember some of the stories in there.. even "live by them" sometimes :) as for sharina.. well i'll prolly get her one of the things she mentioned she liked the last time i was at her place.. its so much easier to shop for gifts for girls! at any age at all...
diana said she's coming over during xmas! :) havent seen her in soooo long! cant wait!!
also i checked out the deal with the external hard disk.. 160 gb for $149.. talk about getting a good deal! it's going to be on offer til the 16th.. still considering if i should go pick it up on the 16th itself (after my last paper.. as a gift for hanging on til that time :p) from the shop or should i just be lazy and just order online..
now as for that mp3/recorder.. saw a neat one that's slightly over a hundred.. still thinking about it.. really busting my budget if i do get it... but i do want it.. and well i guess it really will be helpful for me if i could record lectures.. which is the main reason im thinking about buying it in the first place.. hmm..
oh.. and i made french toast just now.. with butter flavoured maple syrup... boy was it good.. the maple syrup i mean! yum~~ the smell reminds me sooo much of McGriddle... mmm mmmmmmm~~~~
oh well.. that's my break.. too short.. but im happy! i need to live through the rest of bishop's lectures... hopefully by tonight... 3 1/2 more to go! i started at 11.30 this morning.. and now's 5.... that means i took 5 1/2 hrs.. goodness!! im going to have to be listening to him for another 5 1/2 hrs?!! :( (hmm.. bishop sure knows how to bring my mood down... well i guess at least im starting to understand what he's talking about.. but unfortunately in biochem.. understanding and being able to score in the exam are 2 VERY different things)
